BJCM question

We just got the BJCM double and I LOVE the stroller but HATE the basket. I feel like I can't get anything in or out of it. We have a tiny diaper bag (the gerber good start backpack that's really small) that we use for both kids when we're out. It has 2 diapers for each in there and a few snacks but it's a PITA to get in and out of the basket if we need it. What do you ladies do?

Also we haven't ordered any accessories yet and I'm wondering what we "need" or might find useful. Any suggestions?

I use the basket on the bottom to hold our coats and our water bottles and I use the baskets on the backs of the seats for stashing my wet bag for my cloth diapers.  I hang my diaper bag off the handle and I have a big carabeener hook for hanging any shopping bags I might buy.  I plan to get the belly bar once we are done with the infant seat adapter bar, and a parent console.

I hang our diaper bag from the handle. I know it says not to, but we've never had a problem with the stroller tipping back, even when empty.

As far as accessories, we have the belly bar and 1 snack tray, though I'll be buying another soon. If I didn't want the snack trays, I wouldn't have purchased the belly bar.

I have a Sunshine Kids parent console that was only $10 and works wonderfully. I'm considering getting another for the other side.

We also bought the car seat adapter, but I found it to be very heavy and decided to return it.

We have a BJCM single and a BJCM double. So far, we've only used the single. We use to fill a small bag with diapers and wipes and another small bag with snacks. These items easily fit under or behind the seat. We also have the Sunshine Kids parent console for drinks, keys, wallet, etc. Lately I've been using the Mommy Hook to attach my tote bag to the handle bar. You aren't supposed to hang a bag from the handle, but I've never had a problem doing so.
