need help! Nurse isn't getting it.

I know that she has a lot of patients to keep track of, but we talked about doing the bcps for 6 weeks as it was okay'ed by my doctor to get my stimming first week in June.  I called to tell her AF started but she was with a patient so I had to leave a message.  She called back but I couldn't take the call.  The message she left said that I can start bcp on Sun., lupron at the end of this month and ET on May 19th.  This is not what we discussed!  And of course, she left the office before I could call her back.

So since I am "supposed" to be starting bcp on Sun., should I call a nurse even though it is a weekend to get it worked out?  I don't want to be supressed too long, but I also want to make sure everyone is on the same page.  I know I'm being a difficult patient, but all it takes it to write down a timeline!

Would you call for this?  Or should I just take the bcp on Sun and call Monday? This is just the bc part--it should be this complicated!

    I would definitely call.  If it's the emergency line, they will determine if they will have someone call you back over the weekend or Monday.  I work in a medical office, and that's how it works in our office.
    Me: 27, DH: 28 TTC since 11/09
    2/10 & 3/10 Clomid 50mg-BFN
    5/10-Lap Surgery for Stage 2 Endo
    3/11-IUI#1 with Follistim and Menopur-developed mild OHSS= BFN
    6/11-IUI#2 with Follistim -developed moderate OHSS= BFN!

    Is M your nurse, or is it someone in the Cbus office? Regardless, if you'd feel better calling and getting it straightened out today, do so. Otherwise bcp is bcp and the calendar can be adjusted on Monday with no issues.

    I hate getting the phone runaround - it happens at my RE's office, too...

    I would definitely call back and not leave a message.  You could even offer to wait until someone is free to answer your questions.  You are paying a lot of money for this care, and you deserve your questions answered!

    P.S.  I don't think you're being difficult!!

    Dr. James is my doctor in Cbus...I called and left a message with their answering machine service thing and he said they would call me back in a few minutes.  It has now been 2 hours. lol.

    Good thing it isn't an emergency and more of just a clarification thing!  And I'm sure the doc knows that which is why I haven't heard back.  In the meantime, back to sewing some more of my husband's buttons onto his shirts!

    Finally!  I got to talk to her in person and she said it is just fine to start bcp's tomorrow and start stimming May 28th.  Agh!  Where did the time go?!?!
