There's really nothing new.  We were "matched" with a couple but after talking to them on the phone I decided that we didn't really mesh well.  The agency I'm working with is searching for a new couple.  It's so hard to find someone with the same views we have (we're not open to SR, we won't terminate for defects) and everyone wants the option to terminate or reduce for various reasons.  It's frustrating because I know of many people that get matched even the day they apply to an agency, and I've been waiting almost 3m for the perfect couple to come along.  The agency director said she doesn't think it will be too much longer.  There's a couple that has my profile that she thinks I would really like but said they're really dragging their feet and she doesn't want me to wait on them forever (which I don't want to either), she said if someone better comes along and they're still not moving forward that we'll just move on.  I never knew how strange and mentally exhausting this whole process could be (I literally sent 10-15 e-mails to 1 woman yesterday morning and early afternoon for all of the paperwork she needed).

Thanks for updating us. Wow! Sounds like an intense process. I really respect that you are waiting for the right match vs. just going along despite your views. I think that's really important and I wish you all the best! I can only imagine how truly rewarding this is all going to be for the couple who's lucky enough to have you carry their LO/LOs and how rewarding it will be for you, too! Ts& Ps that the right match comes along soon for you!! I commend all that you're doing, Aussie! Truly amazing!
