I just started thinking about how my weekends have been extremely boring lately. I literally have no energy to be excited for Friday (other than the fact that I get to lay around all weekend). What is everyone's plans for the weekend? Tonight, since we have nice warm weather, DH is grilling and our evening will be spent on our deck relaxing. Tomorrow I have no plans and Sunday we are planning on going to the park to do a birthday photo session of my neice. I wish I had more energy to do more, but I think my body will be thanking me later down the road
.
Re: What does your weekend look like?
My parents and nephew are coming to town. I haven't seen them since Christmas so I'm excited. Hopefully I can muster the energy to stay up past 8:00!
My co-worker just offered me Red Sox tickets which I had to turn down, but I'm more excited to see my family anyway.
We need to do some yard work. I tried to today but dh lost the key to the shed so I couldn't get to the lawnmower. Oh well, I am
anyway.

Yours sounds wonderful! DS will have basketball and baseball on Saturday and we have brunch with the Easter Bunny to attend on Sunday. Oh yeah and my moms bored since my father is away so she is going to come hang out on Saturday night too. At least I don't need to set the alarm for the school bus in the morning though!
We are getting ready to replace our carpet in our house - as well as tile. We have guys coming tomorrow to measure the house so that we can get an official estimate. We will be removing the old carpet ourselves so that we have some time to get in there and clean the slab (and treat in a room our cat has always loved) as well as to paint baseboards/walls/ceilings without worrying as much about splatter. So the plan is to remove the carpet from the hallway to our two guest rooms as well as from the two guest rooms. And Hubby will start painting the hallway, for now. Hopefully we are close to picking out paint for our nursery - one of those guest rooms is becoming a nursery very soon.
I say I'm going to help with pulling up carpet cause I really really wanna. But I suspect I'll be laying around like a vegetable cleaning off the DVR.
Might hit the swimming pool this weekend, too, and do some grilling on Sunday. Water temp is already 80 degrees! Friggin April and it's swimmable! Insane. It's been too hot here in Houston....
(usually not swimmable until June...)
MH and I are heading to Home Depot to look at kitchen samples and then picking up the puppy my BIL bought my SIL (we're holding onto it till they get back from Florida)
I also plan to sleep ALOT!
My H is a tax accountant. And since they extended the tax deadline because of National Reading Day or something in DC this is just one more weekend for him to spend all day at the office
So I'll be taking our puppies to the dog park, taking them to get groomed, getting a pedi, cleaning around the house, etc.
...and looking forward to Monday at 530 when the post office closes!!!
We are going to our county Farmer's Market on Saturday - oddly I'm pumped about this because its the first market of the year - yay for winter coming to an end.
Other than that DH has a ton of studying to do and I know I'll have zero energy... so I figure we'll make it to the gym maybe twice and our to the grocery store and Costco.
Sounds like a great weekend to me
We're going to see a movie and get dinner tonight, I don't know what the plan is yet for Saturday (probably cleaning the house then having people over as usual), and on Sunday we'll be going to my friend's child's blessing.
I'm excited that it's Friday because I'm on spring break all next week!

My wonderful husband has decided to invite all of our friends over tonight. So I am stuck grilling and enteraining 10 people and I haven't even got out of work yet. Blah!!
Worst part about it is that no one knows I preggers. So I don't know how I'm going to get around the not drinking/eating junk questions...Not to mention that 8:00 has been my bedtime lately!
