I wanted to share that I found 6 OS pocket diapers (HH and KaWaii Babys) for between $4-$7 a piece at my local Duck Duck Goose Premier Children's Consignment Sale!!! I'm so excited. I was planning on just going with fitteds that I made myself, and prefolds that I made and some that I bought, I'm ecstatic to have these pockets for so cheap! They are in great shape as well! I have a good stash of night time diapers now! These where what I was planning on using at night when baby is older and sleeps for longer periods at night.
I just needed to gush!
Re: dance with joy!
Yay! Are you in Knoxville?
I wanted to check out duck duck goose, but the crowds of people looked insane. I drove by earlier this week and people were lined up around the building waiting to get in.
Yes! We just moved from Athens about 6 months ago! Been going to Duck Duck Goose since my son was 6 months old, he was born only three weeks before the fall sale back in '07 so I didn't make it to that one, though my mom did.
The crowds can be crazy, but it is so worth it! I bought a Joovy Caboose Tandum stroller (it is a sit and stand, for an infant and toddler) that my hubby looked up and said is normally $200 for $75! I have bought all the clothes my son needed for each season, for under $100, play and nice clothes! It was wonderful...they also have 'Duck Out Of Line' where you pay $10 to a local charity and they stand in line for you while you shop. It is worth the money because last spring I didn't know about it and ended up standing in line for 3 1/2 hours! So the Duck Out Of Line is totally worth it! Though if you go first thing in the morning you still have to wait in line to get in initially, and that can get long! Monday is 1/2 off day, everything without the red dote is 1/2 off, I was going to go and get my son some more play shorts but a friend of mine is coming into town for the event tomorrow and I'm going with her so I'll get a few things then and not go monday, Three days at Duck Duck Goose when 9 months pregnant is a lot!
Obviously I can get pretty passionate about Duck Duck Goose, lol!! I sing their praises whenever I get the opportunity! Check it out if you have the opportunity!

Is these still good stuff left if don't make it the first day?
Are you going to the Great Cloth Diaper change next Saturday?
I just got an email (I'm a consigning with dkdkgoose) today saying they were running out of big items (toys, strollers, pack-n-plays, etc) and giving us another chance to sell items that we either forgot to bring, were unable to make it too drop-off, etc.
But they still have plenty of clothes left, there were tons and tons when I was there, and the quality of the clothes is great! I would say it would be worth a look around at least.
The Great Cloth Diaper Change...I've heard Cutie Tooties talk about it on FB but I don't know anything about it. What is it? I'm intrigued and would like to go but not sure if I'll be able too.
Ohhh. I might have to go check it out tomorrow. I love shopping at consignment stores. There are a couple in town that I really like.
I just looked at your tickers, and realized that you probably don't have one still in diapers (yet). It is to set a guiness record for number of cloth diaper changes at the same time around the world. Here is a link with the description. They are also having games, drawings, etc. It sounds fun. I don't have any local friends that cd, so it will be fun to meet some other cd mamas.
This. I'll be there!
I checked out the link. It looks neat! My son is not in diapers anymore, but I might come just to meet other cloth diaper moms in the area. I would enjoy it. I might even be able to bring a few friends who have been asking questions. Thanks for the info!
