I breastfeed when we are at home but she will only eat about 10oz a day at day care. She is there from 8 to 6, does that sound right? She only gets one meal a day at night which usually ends up everywhere but in her mouth. I think she may be only getting about 22 to 24 oz a day! She never complains about being hungry!
Re: How much milk does your LO eat at day care?
Lately she has only been taking 4-6oz from around 7:30am-4:30pm.
Of course from midnight-6am she is eating every 2 hours. sigh. I feel like if I was at home instead of at work she would be sleeping so much better.
DS is breastfed and I pump bottles while I'm at work. He takes 3 or 4 bottles at daycare ranging from 4 to 5 ounces each. So, on most days he eats between 15-20 ounces at daycare. Last week he wasn't feeling well and he only ate about 10-12 ounces total at daycare. He goes from 7am-4pm.
It's hard to tell how much BM they are taking when they nurse before and after daycare, but as long as she's gaining weight and has wet diapers, then I'd say she's getting enough.

Mine takes 10.5-13oz from 8-4pm. She was 6lb 6oz at birth and is now 17lbs 5 oz, so clearly not starving. Look at this link. You can't compare FF to BF in oz or what they "should" be eating. It isn't the same at all.
