Yep, that's who I see too. She explains stuff in a way I can understand. I didn't like endocrinology in nursing school =P Their office is nice and easy to get in for appointments. She's never fussed at me when I've had to take my kids with me either.
if you end up going through texas diabetes & endo, do NOT get an appt w/ a dr. whose last name rhymes w/ pemerson (or temerson, or lemerson). not a fan.

Funny you should mention that! That's who I was seeing!!!
I go to Austin Thyroid & Endocrinology. Dr S certainly doesn't give the warm fuzzies, but she always answers my questions and I've felt confident in her care. They're located right behind the NAMC off Loop 1/Parmer.

He's leaving the practice. I was with Dr. E m e r s o n and was not a fan. Much happier with Espinosa.

FWIW, I CANNOT STAND Dr. S. Most definitely lacks the warm fuzzies, but she was downright mean to me. I will NEVER go see her again, and I try to tell as many people as possible to steer clear. I left her office sobbing on multiple occasions because she was so dismissive of my concerns and practically flat out refused to listen to me.

Suckfest!! Maybe I got in quicker because I was already pregnant again and they were "concerned".
