Surely it must mean babytime for you!!! LOL JK, I won't jinx it. ) I'm sending strong contraction dust your way.

::UPDATE::

Tonight at 8PM I ate spicy eggplant and my water broke 11:45PM. I'm laboring at home and find it quite funny that I find the toilet the most comfortable place to deal with contractions lol. Wish me luck!

Sorry it took me so long to update!! Labor is... well laboring lol. My water broke 6 hours after a single 2oz dose of castor oil. Like i posted before, i took it blended with a handful of fresh strawberries and 4oz of oj and some ice. I just drank it like a smoothie and had no bad taste or anything. It did clear me out though (which im sure is the only reason i did not have a bm during deliver lol if thats tmi then oh well:)) I was admitted to the maternity ward about an hour after my water broke. My contractions were regular at this point, but very mild. However by about 11pm they had become sporadic again so the on call dr gave me a half dose of celatrix which is supposed to help riped and dilate. it kicked up contractions pretty hard core to the point that i was unable to fully relax between them for most of the night. at about 3 or 4 am, i was given some Nubane to help relax between contractions since they thought i was going to be laboring for quite some time. (and when last checked around 1am i was still hovering at like 2-3 cm dilated) By 5:30 am I was 8 cm and 100%. I started pushing at about 9am and baby was born at 10:33am.  He is huge. He's 9 lbs even and 21 inches long. (born with no evidence of meconium already passed fyi) and he was born on his due date- which is pretty rare i hear

I wish you ladies luck in your possible experiences with castor oil (and spicy eggplant too it sounds!)- just remember that no matter what you do, baby is not going to come unless he/she and your body are ready.

I welcomed my baby boy Grayson into the world at 6:55am April 18th. Super fast natural birth. Water broke at 11:45pm and I had contractions start at 12 am. Got to hospital at 5am at 9cm. 1 hr of pushing and he was born! April 19th home from the hospital. I already miss the nurses! Even though baby is cluster feeding and i am soooooo sleep deprived this is all so amazing. Detailed birth story to come Congratulations Ehouck33!!!!! good luck mommas who are trying to induce. I will post spicy eggplant recipe later.
