Please recommend your crib. I'm trying not to spend a lot on it but want something safe, durable, etc. I think it was the Graco Sarah crib that was recommended last time I posted? Does anyone have this crib and recommends it?
My sister has a very expensive, nice crib that she can give us but she lives 3 hours away so my husband would have to drive up and back on weekend to get it - and she doesn't have the instructions. I'm not sure that it's worth it...
TIA!!!!!
Re: Crib
Ikea Gulliver - the previous Baby Bargains (there is a new one that just came out) gave it very positive reviews.
We love it.
I turned down a very expensive crib from my BFF - it was drop sides and I just couldn't get past it not meeting current standards.
Instead I chose the Baby Mod Modena in Navy from Walmart. I am not a Walmart fan but this got great reviews and had clean, modern lines for under $300. Here's a link to it in White: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Baby-Mod-Modena-2-in-1-Crib-White/15529737
We went all out for DS's nursery furniture and got the entire Tori collection by Savanna from JCP. The crib is solid hardwood and sturdy as they come, but the finish scratches really easily.
For this LO, we're likely getting the Graco Lauren. It gets nothing but rave reviews, and we didn't feel the need to spend a small fortune the second time around (poor kid is already getting cheated!)

You may want to check your local baby specialty stores. My husband and I had picked out a cheaper model crib, but when we went to the store to look at it, it felt like it was going to fall apart in our hands. The baby specialty store we went to had AMAZING deals on floor models that were in almost 100% perfect condition. We bought the Forever Cocoon 7000 for $300, which retails for $550. We felt better actually being able to touch the crib and know that it would be sturdy and safe for our child.
Good luck in your search! It was a tough decision for us, but choose what you feel the most comfortable with.
We have the Baby Mod Cadence (Walmart) crib and love it. It's the same as the Davinci Kalani (Target).
Easy to put together and very sturdy.
