DD has a lovey like this:

The last two nights she only falls asleep with it across her face and then I have to go in there and move it.  Why will she only fall asleep with it across her face?  It's making me crazy.

Haha! That is so strange she falls asleep with it on her face! I'd have to go in there and remove it too. I get freaked out with the FP seahorse or Wubbanub in the crib with him.

Eli used to do this all the time. At first I was freaked out but it never bothered him. Now he's all over the place in the crib at night so his lovey ends up across the freaking bedroom.

K does the exact same thing. I'm not sure why though. I just go move it. I check on him every 10 minutes until I get in the bed anyway so I don't worry about it too much.

My daughter has a similar lovey and does the same thing.

The boys did it too with their little security blanket, so we replaced it with a loosely knitted blanket so there is more of an oxygen flow!

lol, Grace does the same thing, I bf and I wonder if the warmth on her face next to me is similar to having the warmth from the blankie?

I love that! My niece did that when she was Hadley's age. I loved it so much!! And Hadley is too adorable. I always love your pics.

Abigail does this too! She loves to rub her seahorse around her face and snuggle with her face right up against it. I think she is going to be a blankey girl eventually though, because she loves to rub fabric against her face like that too.

I love that! My niece did that when she was Hadley's age. I loved it so much!! And Hadley is too adorable. I always love your pics.

DS #1 always wanted stuff on his face too.  Now that he is in a regular bed, he sleeps with the entire pillow on top of his head.  And usually sideways or backwards in the bed, but that is another issue

Landon does this too and I never thought of that being the reason but very possible! that and he likes to rub his eyes A LOT when he is tired.

Ty does the same thing--pulls the blanket over his face! I'm always having to pull them down. He wants his face covered but kicks the blanket off his body. :-P
