Babies: 6 - 9 Months

So how is SIL living with me going?

Well the other day she cleaned for us which I was very excited about, yay she did something and then I walked into the bathroom and found something very disturbing. Keep in mind I have been a crazy person about keeping the house safe for a baby, like no plastic bags left on the floor, etc... I thought this would be an obvious don't.

  • Wait, so I'm confused?  She left a plastic bag on the floor?  Maybe it was just a mishap...

  • I boiled all of his toys after that and put the Drain out away, I couldn't believe it didn't occur to her that his toys could not go anywhere near this stuff.

I guess I shouldn't mention that my bags from my target trip this afternoon are still all over the living room floor. Eh.

  • They set him on the floor and he gets a hold of them and I flip and they shrug it off figuring he hasn't gotten hurt yet

You should save them to put over LO's head on rainy days.... WAY easier than a stupid umbrella.... ;)

  • I am sooooo glad I am not the only one with a SIL living with us & is clueless!  She leaves baby gates open, plastic bags out, and my latest fav: beads on the floor after doing a craft project.

Yikes, I feel like a nut case every time I walk in the house and see everything. I am making them sit through a Baby proofing video or something so they don't just  get serious when we take him to the hospital because he got a hold of something.

  • If you find a good video let me know.  DH is great and being careful but my SIL is flaky and know nothing about babies.
