DH is doing taxes.

DH: On the state tax form, I have to fill in your occupation. What should I put?

Me: Just put homemaker.

::DH looks around our complete mess of a house::

DH: Well, are you sure? I mean, I don't want to lie to them. What if they come check our house?

::Me flipping the bird and growling::

    Do you tell him to put his occupation as deceased. And you won't be lying.

    Him: "What do I put for your occupation now that you're not a student?" 

    Me: "Put writer."

    Him: "Freelance?"

    Me: "No, then they'll expect me to have income." 

    He paused, considered, and typed "homemaker."

    Me: "Fvcker!"

    Sorry but that was pretty funny. I am sure if my husband said that I would be angry too but I have to admit that was pretty classic.

    This made me laugh so loud I'm afraid I woke the baby.

    FYI: This is typical teasing for DH and I. I give it right back, trust. And he's not wrong. Our house is a mess.

    I am also a writer but as of now I can put STUDENT so whhhaaaachhhhaaa DH!

    I don't want to laugh but it was kind of funny!  I am sure he was joking-I am a neat freak and my house has not been cleaned top to bottom in months and months.  It's straightened up and I clean what I can when I can.  It's ok by me.  If it really bothers your H that much tell him to do it.

    H teases me about the same stuff too. He always asks when I'm going to start earning my "check"

    Somedays it really bothers me because I do feel a litlte guilty.
