I am looking to buy a stroller soon and wanted to get some recommendations. I was really looking at the Graco flip it but then read it was really hard to push in the flipped position. Thanks!!
I feel the same way as T, I have the Chicco travel system and wish I had done a little more research. I love the city mini (although it's kind of expensive- around $200) but you can get a carseat adaptor for it. It wouldn't hurt to put it on your registry, if you have one! The city mini folds up very easily with one had and it's super lightweight. I don't have it, but I've tried it out at babies r us.
We have a Graco travel system. It's big and clunky, but it's useful. We also just recently purchased the City Mini. It's much smaller and lighter than travel system strollers, but it's also got it's negatives. It's got a much smaller basket than the Graco or Chicco type strollers, and if you need to store a lot of stuff it won't work. It also doesn't come with cup holders or a snack tray...it's all extra
We went to the zoo today for example and took the Graco stroller because we could fit a small cooler and my Vera Bradley diaper bag stuff full of stuff for 2 kids in the basket. I can't even fit the diaper bag in the basket of the city mini when it's got a lot of stuff in it. So we use the mini right now more for walks, but it will be used more once #2 is a bit older and we don't need as much "stuff" And even though the travel systems are huge, they've got lots of things that make them convenient.
So it's all in what you think you'll be using it for.
You can get either of these used, in great shape since you only use them for about 6 months on Craigslist or at Once Upon a Child for less than $30.
As I primary stroller, I recommend either the Kolcraft Contours or Jeep Liberty All Terrain. I really like the Kolcraft because baby can face you or face away and it is really easy to adjust the back. It is also the better of the two for an infant/young baby. It steers great and has a HUGE basket. The Jeep is also made by Kolcraft, it seems to be the same frame. It's amazing how much kids really love that silly steering wheel, and how it can keep a kid happy in the stroller. If you only want to buy 1 stroller, I highly recommend the Kolcraft Contours. It can also hold infant carseats (the Jeep can also).
I have the Chicco System & as of right now the bulkiness of it doesn't bother me for the same reason stated before I have to carry so much crap with me wherever we go. I don't know if that will change in the future or not?
I LOVE having a car seat that snaps right into the stroller though so that I'm not taking the baby in & out - waking him up, etc.

I loved the Snap N Go stroller while C was in a carseat. It is small, lightweight, and has a good basket.
