Is it bedtime yet?

DH has been working on the NCAA gymnastics stuff all week, so he's not been home before 8:30 or 9 and won't be until Sunday.

One or the other of these two kids has been waking in the middle of the night and the other is up at the asscrack of dawn. I am running around trying to keep them occupied and not whining for Daddy.

I iz tired. Is 3 too early to start drinking on a Thursday? Surprise

Re: Is it bedtime yet?

  • I had to take my 2 to the ENT at 2pm, when Bryan usually naps from 2-4, and they both almost fell asleep in the car even though it's a whopping 10minute WALK from our house.  It was a fun nap-crabby visit.  It's been a long day here, too.

And we're doing dinner with FIL tonight.  He fell down again yesterday.  Why?  Golfed and drank all day, never took any of his actual medication.

I may spike some hot cocoa.

    Sorry I hijacked.

  • 2 kids in a doctor's office always trumps daddy working too much. You 'win'. :-)

  • I take their bedtime and subtract an hour and a half then start drinking, that way I am only slightly buzzed while they are still away:) Daddy working too much will be the death of me I tell you, or will lead me to rehab
  • Love your 'equation'. LOL

  • if you really need a drink you could do this. put some sport game on in the background, baseball, golf whatever. then you can pretend you're at the actual event. If I was at a baseball game on a Thursday afternoon, I would totally be having a beer. See my logic? lol!
  • While I was getting dinner ready I discovered a bottle of almond champagne that had gotten pushed to the back. Woo hoo!

And it's well after 6, so I can legitimately have a drink.
