Because I'm obessed with ice water, I feel like the poor little guy doesn't get a ton of rest because I'm always drinking it (which makes him move but that isn't why I'm doing it). I've actually been cutting back and drinking room temp water for his sake.
Anyone else suddenly feel like they NEED ice water all the time? (I've also been chewing ice for the first time in my life!)
Re: I feel sorta bad for my baby.....
Not for ice, but really really cold water. I feel like I just read somewhere something about chewing ice in pregnancy?
Found it! It's called Pagophagia. Look into it, if you feel concerned, you could always ask your doctor. Sounds like it is pretty common in pregnant women.
Woah that is a bit intense! I don't think it's a compulsive behavior for me so I'm not too worried. For me it's just that I like the cold. Scary for those who have that though! I also just had my iron tested and I'm good so I feel safe.

It only does that to me sometimes and when it does I eat tums....I figure the tums are calcium which is good for both baby and I so why not
Congrats on today being your last day of work, I'm totally jealous!

Me too! Room temperature is gross to me. I don't know why! lol
I have very sensitive teeth so I have been drinking room temperature water for years. After months of Sensodyne use I feel as though my teeth are starting to not be so bad and I have really been enjoying cold water again. And I was even chewing some ice a couple weeks ago which I never thought I'd do!
And when I'm out and order a drink with ice I always have to have a straw so it doesn't hurt my teeth... but for some reason I never think to use a straw at home (and I have some in the cabinet).
ahh the thought of chewing ice gives me goosebumps. I could never do it.. my teeth are sensitive I guess.
However cold cold water is a must
