but can anyone else feel when their baby is eating/swallowing? Please don't flame me..lol But I swear, after I eat, especially something sweet I feel this continuos movement like she may be eating - like an opening and closing and head movement...I beg for no flames. LOL!

I have had that too! However I was just thinking that I was experienceing the hiccups in little one...they are about a few seconds apart.

maybe I'm naive...but I didn't think they "ate". I also feel like even if they were, you wouldn't really feel it. But who knows. I've never felt anything like that.

I haven't.. however, after the girl yesterday posted about her baby licking the umbilical cord during a u/s.. I don't know what to think. lol.

Oh no, they total swallow/eat the amniotic fluid..we have caught her a few times during the ultrasounds. I know it sounds weird..but I just can't figure this weird feeling out after I eat..I am just crazy right now. LOL Trying to enjoy the crazy movements. LOL

Honestly, some of the movements I feel are SO BIZARRE that I don't even know WHAT to think he's doing in there!

I was told that baby can even taste what you are eating (sweet, spicy, etc.) Not sure that there is any nutritional value in the amniotic fluid?  But, my LO definitely gets more active after I eat!

At my U/S 2 weeks ago, my baby totally looked like he was sucking on the umbilical cord!  He was holding it very close to his mouth and opening and closing his lips....so funny!  We have it on video too...Not sure I'll be able to post it here but I'll try later tonight.

Our baby was grabbing on to it like a toy. It kinda freaked me out b/c he had no idea how important his "toy" is!

Baby usually gets the hiccups about 10 minutes after I finish eating...it's happened consistently for 4 days now. Totally bizarre and I have no idea if they're both related at all. I haven't felt the swallowing thing though.
