XP: Not so great news (NBR)

So I was told today that our office is shutting down and they are letting everyone go.  They said by Sept. everyone will be gone.  The managers will possibly be here until Nov.  (I'm a manager so I'll more than likely be here until Nov.) but I will not be on mat. leave until Sept/Oct.  I don't even know what to think.  My DH is still in England and I'm home by myself.  I'm just so  torn up!  I guess the good news is I have until Nov. to find something!  Thanks for letting me vent!

Oh man, that really stinks.  I guess the silver lining is as you said, you have 6 months to find a new job.

I know what it's like to lose your job with a new baby at home.....it's nerve-wracking, to say the least.  I hope this turns out to be a blessing in disguise for you, and your next job is even better than the one you have now.

I am glad you have time to find something else but that is hardly the stress you need when you're pregnant. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
