We weren't going to cycle again, but DH and I talked last night and we want to at least hear what she has to say.  I just called to schedule our the appointment and was able to get in tomorrow afternoon!  So, now I'm trying to think of what to ask and my brain is pure mush.  I know I have more, but these are what comes to mind right now.  Can you think of anything else?

Was it a quality issue (4 & 6 cells on day 3) or just bad luck again? 

Should we move ahead with the 2 remaining embies for FET #2 or do a fresh cycle?

If we did a fresh cycle would we do a fresh transfer, or just do the ER and then FET following cycle (bc of how I react to stims)?

Long lupron again?

Trigger with Lupron to help prevent OHSS?

Would there be any sense in repeating DH's SA to see if any improvement, and if improved would IUI be an option?

Those sound like really good questions!  I always like to ask about what are odds are, even though I know it doesn't really matter.  Either it works or it doesn't; it doesn't ever work 60%, ykwim.

you are at a new clinic right?

i would ask about fresh cycle and what protocol changes they would make to improve embryo quality and increase chances (reduce chance of OHSS and your reactions to meds)

any supps/vitamins to improve egg quality

any additional testing (immune, RPL, clotting)?

Hey sweetie!  I'm sorry you have to have a WTF, but I'm glad you're considering another cycle!  I found Dr. G to be very forthcoming and honest in my WTF and I really appreciated her honesty!

Here are things I asked her -

1.  What did you think of the quality of my embryos at the old clinic and the protocol I was on there - she was very professional and didn't slam my old clinic, but made it clear that she thought I triggered too early and although they fertilized and went to blast, she didn't think I had the best quality embryos.  She changed my stim protocol, and even though I still ended up with OHSS, she thought my embie quality from ivf#2 was much better (and I have to agree!)

 2.  The SA is a good one.  It would be great to go through an IUI if you could .

3.  Lupron/Novarel - I know Dr. G likes Lupron in PCOS patients to help prevent overstim (and told me that she would likely put me on even higher dose of lupron than I was on if I did another fresh cycle).  It might be good to see if she would actually increase your lupron dose on a fresh to reduce your OHSS risk.

 Also, spend some time chatting iwth Janice on payment options.  We did the ARC 1 cycle plan and thought it was pretty good value for the money.  I've already set aside all my leftover meds and syringes for you .

I've been thinking about you (and actually texted you today and erased it because I want to hound you!)....but I'm always here if you need me!
