I called the pedi this morning because I thought my son was showing symptoms of seasonal allergies. I told her about his runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes and a slight cough. I also told her that I have horrible allergies so she would know that it runs in the family. She prescribed some meds for him. We are to try it out for a week and see how it goes. She said that she didn't really need him to come into the office because they can't do anything there. Okay, no biggie...at least I thought. Enter DH. I called him and told him that Gus was put on allergy meds for the week. He flipped out on me. I don't want him on meds if the doctor can't see him! I tried to explain that they don't normally see kids for seasonal allergies, but he is mister tough guy and is now calling the doc to get an appt. My thought is that if she thoht she needed to see him, she would have told us to come in, right? Ugh...so now I can't go get the meds to help my son breathe until DH gets answers.
Re: F/U to seasonal allergies...DH vent included
The two men in my life. Oh, and I have a husband too...
Im kind of on the fence here....I agree with H's coment of no meds if she hasn't even seen him, BUT at the same time, allergy sufferers know a seasonal allergy when they see it! I would take the even road and go with something natural. I have been a hard core sufferer as far back as I can remember and tried everything from liquids to the allergy shot and NOTHING has ever worked for me besides homeopathics. 100% safe for babies!!!! Great stuff!
Homeocan is the company, we use it for everything baby related! Amazing stuff and works very very fast! I get it at the local grocery store in the natural health section $12, but being in Canada, I'm not sure where to send you, whole foods for sure and any natural health store I would assume. I'd even order it online. If nothing else look up the active ingrediants and take the list to a store, they'll help
