This is a P&R because I have to get this house clean before I go to lunch but I was curious.

Is your baby slimming up now that they are mobile? Izzy had gained 2 pounds in a month so I know she is gaining properly but I've noticed her middle isn't as round. I used to call her "melon belly" because her belly was huge. Anyone's LO getting toned with their new skill?

Remy doesn't crawl yet, but he's mobile. He rolls, squirms, and wiggles his way around (and yes, gets from point A to point . And last time we went to the doctor (only 1 month difference) he had only gained 10 ounces.

The doctor said it was most likely from how much he gets around.

Yes Kylie has gotten slimmer since she started crawling around.  We were saying last night that we think she lost a roll or two on her thighs.

Yes Kate is slimming up.  Her belly isn't as round and she is starting to get a neck!  Haha!  She started slimming down even more now that she is cruising!

I'm glad we had that huge burst in weight gain before she became totally mobile b/c losing weight wouldn't have been good.

My niece slimmed up once she started crawling. Then chunked up again right before she started walking. Then she slimmed down again once she was walking. Now is chunking up again. LOL, it's like a cycle.

Yep, DS started to slim when he became mobile & thats when we started solids 3x per day (@6mos). Now he's standing/"walking" & his chubby thighs have become muscular lol.

My mom and MIL tell me this every day. I was nervous about her summer clothes fitting since she is a chunker, but they say once she figures out the whole crawling thing she will lean out a decent amount.

If not, I will have just about an entire summer wardrobe to return. LoL

Yes. He looks like he's lost some weight, and a few people have commented (my mom, MIL, SIL, etc.) I think it's nomad for them to slim down some once they become mobile. We see his pedi on Monday and we'll ask about it then.
