This southern hotness and humidity

I'm not a native to this southern state. Since moving here, I feel like a teenage kid with bad acne. Since finding out that I'm pg, my acne has gotten worse. I know its all the hormones, but I'm adding the heat and humidity to my very oily skin and breakouts. I'm all out of ideas of what to use that is safe while pg. My OB said he doesn't want me to take anything, which is understandable...My dermatologist said he's helpless...He prescribed clindamycin and arithromycin which didn't work...Any other ideas of treatment...? I want my pg glow, not that oily glow. HELP...!!!

Re: This southern hotness and humidity

  • I'm from CO so I'm used to super dry climates, and this is only my 3rd summer here. My doc hasn't said anything about products that I can or cannot use, but I've been using Cetaphil daily face wash (not the gentle one), Clinique level 4 toner for oily skin and Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing gel (not lotion or cream) and it's been great for my skin. The humidity did wonders for my acne which was really bad in CO due to dry climates, but too much can definitely be an issue. I also changed up my foundation since it made my skin very oily, even after cleaning my face thoroughly at night. GL!
