I can identify with some of those pictures. Carrying two babies straight out in front was not kind to my body. Too bad I'm too cheap and chicken sh!t to get a tummy tuck.
I look like most of them. My stretch marks were PURPLE and went from hip to hip, as high as my belly button, and on my thighs due to pre-e swelling. They have lightened, but I still have the flap of skin that folds over.
And I'm doing it all over again! Can't wait to see what it looks like after 2

Alot of those women seem to be only three or four months PP so it'll probably get better for them! I didn't get any stretch marks on my belly but got a few on my hips and ass (weight gain from eating like a garbage disposal) and they have faded and you can barely see them on my hips and they are completly gone elsewhere. I didn't grow out as much as some people because I am tall.
Well it's a 3-6 month board, so those bellies will tighten up more and the stretch marks will fade considerably. I have to admire anyone brave enough to post pics!
And I would like to invite the poster with this quote to hang out here: "Wait...yep..My stretchmarks said congrats. My belly button clapped for you. My ass threw confetti."

Too funny!
that line was awesome. And seriously, the skinny fit chicks need not post in that thread.
You know, most of it is a complete crapshoot anyway. If you eat normally, gain 20-35 lbs, you'll largely get back to whatever your normal is. Stretchmarks generally fade with time
FWIW, I had my second son the year I turned 40, and yes, I still have 10lbs to lose, but it's not baby weight, it's lifestyle weight. And no stretchmarks.
**shrug**
promised myself I'd retire when I turned gold, and yet here I am
And now the comments about how they're only 3-6 months postpartum are making me feel like crap. I need to get my 3 year pp a$$ into shape or I'm never going to attract another baby daddy...

My stomach looked pretty close to those pics at 3 months pp. Now my stretch marks are a lovely shade of white, even whiter than my normal pale complexion. It was the second one that did me in too. I had stretch marks with DD1 but no where near this bad.

I have battle scars, but I am thankful for I don't have!!
That being said, they are all beautiful because they remind us of our buddles of joy.
Yep, same here! All of my friends IRL are crazy skinny even after having kids, so it's nice to know I'm not the only one struggling.
