Just cried at the dinner table in front of MIL

I seriously can't believe I cried at the dinner table. It started when DH told me he made the reservation for MIL's birthday dinner on Friday at 6 when he knows I have to do my Lovenox shot at 6:30. To make carrying in an ice pack a little more tricky, we're having dinner with my parents who don't know of our cycle. I know, I know, I can do the shot in the bathroom, but it's just one of those days and I just lost it. After the day I had and how I'm feeling about this cycle, if felt good to cry. MIL was so sweet and I think having her here this week to see all that we have to do to have a baby is opening her eyes just a little to what we've gone through over the past five years.

It's not the Lovenox that I ice, but rather my bruised belly. ;)

Stupid Lovenox!  Really, that stuff is killer.  It's all for a good cause, though.  Those little embryos will thank you for it someday.  :)

  • We've all had days like that. If crying is what made you feel better, then it sounds like it was a good thing.

I, for one, do not enjoy doing shots any place but at home. I don't blame you for being upset about the dinner time. Even if it was my MILs bday, I would ask to do a late dinner. If she knows about everything, I'm sure she'll understand going at 7 instead of 6.

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And HOPE does not dissappoint.
