Insearch of new Dr..

I am insearch of a new Dr. as mine moved to a location that is farther from home (and hopefully work, if I get a transfer) than I want to be going.  I am looking for suggestions on a new OBGYN/Family Dr. in the Minneapolis area (Fridley, Columbia Heights, Roseville area preferably).  Also with that keeping in mind where I might want to deliver.  Preferances on hospitals in the area?? 

This is a first pregnancy for us, looking for some help in my search.

Here are a few options in your general area:

1) OB/Gyn Dr Lisa Mattson at the Fridley OB/Gyn Clinic in the Unity Professional Bldg. Delivers at Unity Hospital. She's awesome, as are her partners. There is a pediatric clinic, Fridley Children's & Teenagers Medical Clinic in the same bldg that also gets rave reviews, especially Dr Sakkal.

2) Dr John Berge is a family doc who practices at the Fairview Clinic in Columbia Hts. He delivers babies at Unity. Several of my friends really like him.

3) My personal favorite is the HealthEast Vadnais Hts Clinic. I've met all the family docs there and 5 or 6 do prenatal care and deliver their own patients at St John's Hospital in Maplewood. It's definitely a personal choice and what you're comfortable with, but I've really enjoyed seeing a family doc for all aspects of my care. She took care of my prenatal care, delivered my daughters and is also their primary physician. It's made it really easy to get to know and trust my doc.

I really  liked the Ob Gyn team at the Fairview Women's Clinic at Riverside. There is a team of 8 doctors and I met most of them during my last month of pregnancy. They deliver at Riverside. I had a great experience there and would highly recommend it. Fairview also offers pregnancy/birth class, which I would recommend taking.

Generations Women's Clinic is awesome. They are in Shoreview on Cnty Rd E by Lexington. They have midwives and an OB and deliver at St. Joeseph's in St. Paul or St. John's in Maplewood (might not be quite the area you're looking for). I went there on recommendation of a good friend when I was first pregnant and am so happy I did! The midwives were awesome and I loved St. Joeseph's for the delivery.
