Walmart registry items - out of stock?

I'm registered at walmart.com and suddenly many of the items are out of stock. My shower invitations are going out in the next day or two, with the shower in 2.5 weeks. I'm concerned now that half of my registry is useless. Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea if it's reasonable to expect items to be back in stock soon? I have been watching for about a week, and so far, no changes.

Just fyi - I live in a rural area where we have no Walmart, much less Target, BRU, etc, so no matter what, guests would be shopping online.

I have not had this problem although your guests will still be able to view what you wish for and purchase them online through another store. I am sure it is very frustrating and no fun at all...Hang in there

Everything should be back in stock in a few days. I have crib sheets I love saved in my cart (no registry) so I can buy them & it was out of stock for a few days & then they were back again.

Typically when I am buying from a registry and items aren't in stock, I buy a gift card to the store for the parents to be.  This way they can wait for their items or pick out something new.

Items go in and out of stock all the time, things can change day by day! I think yo have plenty of time. If I were to see a registry with mostly out of stock items I would go for a gift card. I imagine most guests probably think that way. But I wouldn't worry too much about it.
