Jones.  

 

Yup, we call our little girl Jones.  It's a long story....

My sister calls her Fia sometimes, but she's the only one who does lol

I used to call her tootie when she was a baby because she had gas A LOT.

LO has a ton of nicknames too. Some of them are a play on her name (first and last), but most of them are just random.

The one I call her most often is Boog-a-loo-boo. I don't know where it came from, I just said it one day & it stuck.

Story:  My husband is a state record holder in cross country.  When he was running competitively he wasn't allowed to run in amateur "fun" races.  But he wanted to anyway, so he used a fake name.  His fake name is "Mayfer Jones."(you cangoogle it and get all kinds of race results)  When we started calling Allie Muffin, it eventually turned into Muffin Jones, and then just Jones.

The funny thing is....I THINK this is why he calls her that, at least subconsciously .  The alternative is that there is no reason, we're just weird.  lol

We started calling her "little chunk" last summer because she was such a chunk.  Now she thinned out and is in the 10% for weight and 25% for height.  So, I get funny looks when I call her "little chunk" because it doesn't really fit her anymore.  I have tried to start calling her "little peanut".

Turbunkle.  I was calling him turd when he was up a ton in the middle of the night.  I felt bad calling him turd, so it's now turbunkle.  My oldest actually asked me what a turbunkle is and why we call him that the other day.  I played dumb and said I had no idea where it came from or what it means.

She's also been known as Bean or Sophie Bean. Lately since she's been potty training & running around naked a lot I've started calling her tushie. She likes that one.
