Stroller poll

What stroller do you have?  And what do you like/dislike about it?  PIP if you can.

I have the Baby Jogger City Mini in orange/grey, but I'm kinda having stroller envy... my friend just got the Britax B Ready and I love how hers can convert to a double stroller.  I love mine because it's light, is very easy to maneuver one-handed, and has a very easy fold.  I don't like how there's no foot rest, everything is "extra" (like the parent console and belly bar), and my ginormous diaper bag doesn't fit in the storage part.  That can easily be solved by buying another diaper bag though =P

We have the Chicco Lightway and I like it. Evie is our last child and that is the only reason we went with pink. :) Also, we didn't want to spend a ton of money on a stroller that we won't be using after she grows out of it.

It is lightweight and easy to fold/unfold. The basket underneath is small so I can't use my big diaper bag. I just use the small one my dr's office gave me instead.

Cute!  Why do they make the baskets so darn small??

  • We have the Aura Evenflo travel system. It's kind of bulky, but it's a smooth ride, and it's nice to have while out shopping, and for long walks.

We also have an umbrella stroller that LO loves way more than our full-size. He loves looking around at everything without anyone obstructions blocking his view. Maybe when he's bigger, he'll like the full-size better.

We're still using our Graco Snugride carseat and stroller frame combo.  I freakin love it!  I think DS is almost always happy to get in his carseat because most of the time (before I went back to work) it meant that we were going for a walk, which he loves to do.

It turns on a dime for maneuvering tight corners but it has no shocks.  Oh, and you mostly have to use two hands to steer, but our streets and sidewalks are horrible.  It might steer better on a smooth surface like a mall.  It's also super lightweight,  easy to close up, and doesn't take up much space in our trunk or a closet.

I'm kind of dreading when DS grows out of it...

ETA - it was also super easy to use in the airport.  We got through security fine and then gate checked the frame and took the carseat on the plane with us.

My biggest complaint is that the cupholder is awful.

i like how the handle can flip so LO can be facing you if you want.  the basket at the bottom can definitely hold my big @ss diaper bag.  its also easy to fold up and theres a cup holder for mommy.  i hate how its heavy and chunky though.  i have yet to attempt to go out by myself in fear that i wont be able to haul this back into the vehicle.

I love that there is a rear-facing option, and the seat unit, but dislike the canopy and rain cover.

Our double, the Baby Jogger City Elite:

I love everything about this except there is no rear-facing option.

We also have a Maclaren umbrella that has seen better days, but is very serviceable still.

  • I don't know how to PIP so...

We use our Graco Metrolite (in racer) for the mall and other light-duty trips.  Its great for tight fits and DS is very comfy in it.

I  FREAKIN' LOVE my BOB Revolution for walking and jogging.  I bought the infant seat adapter, the parent console and with the infant seat adapter there is a console for baby that you can add later.  I was able to walk in snow and slush, I have been able to hike off-road and the BOB does it all with ease!

  • I have the Uppababy Vista in black.  I've only used it a few times since I had been using the Snap n Go but so far I love it!  I've also only used the bassinet attachment and haven't used the seat yet.  It's got a HUGE basket underneath and I've used it at the zoo and for a couple of 2 mile walks.  Super durable and easy to maneuver.  I like that the seat can face forward or back and if we have a second there is a toddler seat that you can buy to attach and make it a double stroller.

for the life of me I can't figure out how to PIP on my macbook!

  • I don't remember which model it is, but I have a Graco travel system stroller. I like it because it has lots of storage in the basket and it's nice for going grocery shopping, but that's just about it.

It doesn't have a one-hand fold, it takes up a lot of room in my trunk, it is difficult to steer one handed (I have a dog and need to be able to do so) etc etc etc

I kind of really want to get a jogging stroller and sell this one =/

Love it! It's reversible so you can see LO while walking, comfortable, turns easily, has a very smooth ride/good suspension, folds easily and has nice features like a large canopy and cup holders for LO and us. The downside is that it's very heavy and pretty bulky when folded up.

  • We have the city mini double (green) and I have a city elite single. As of right now the double as a waste b/c Conner is more of a fan walking on our nightly walks but I see how it will come in handy when he needs to be strapped in on a trip somewhere.

  • I have the jeep liberty jogging stroller. It a little heavy and it's bulky but it fits in my camry's trunk and I can fold it up and get it in/out of my trunk by myself. I like that it has baskets in front and back and that it works with our graco snugride. It's a very smooth ride.

  • We have the UppaBaby Vista in green.  I LOVE it.  We used it with the car seat adapter when DD was small, and have recently started using the seat as she likes to face outwards.  We used the bassinet when we were in Mexico and it was perfect as DD would fall asleep in there and we'd take her everywhere in the evening.

The stroller is so easy to push around and really looks slick.  I'm so glad we decide to invest in it.  It's not cheap, but seriously worth it.

We have this one too, but the regular three wheel, not all terrain. I love it for city walking. For mall trips and such we have the Graco IPO umbrella stroller and love it as well.

  • We're city people so we use our stroller every single day vs. a car so we got the UppaBaby Vista in Denny (Red) and I love it!  I seriously love everything about it, if I really had to think about something I disliked, it would probably be that I can't take it with me when I travel b/c it's too heavy and I'd be too afraid of them wrecking it.  Plus it can hold 3 kids so we won't have to buy another stroller whenever we have more kiddos.

     image

So I just bought the Chicco Liteway to fly with and we love that as well.

I love it because my uncle bought it for me!  It's super cute, it's a travel system so the carseat came with it and clicks in, plus she can be forward-facing if I want.  There are plenty of cupholders. My diaper bag fits in the bottom (it's huge!!), it's sturdy, I can easily fold it up/unfold it.  I love the canopy.  I don't like how heavy it is, but I guess that's hard to get away from if you want all the features and not just an umbrella stroller.

ETA: I like how the design is unisex just in case I have a little boy down the road...

Yeah, the third is a sit and stand seat on the very back of the stroller.  Here's the pic with two seats and the back stand.
