Sperm Quotes from Husbands!

Ok, I just think it's so funny how men seem to think they have amazing sperm, even without an SA to back it up. Last night my DH told me "If there is an egg, my sperm will find it." I couldn't help but laugh at his comment!

Do your husbands say things like this since you have started TTC?

    lol yes, my fiance says he haz amazing swimmers and that they are super sperm...he says they HAVE to find the egg.

    Lol, yes. The other day my husband talked me into having sex before bed and again in the morning because he was "Superman" and his sperm would regenerate enough overnight :)

    Oh yes, DH think his sperm are invincible and says that he is like a caveman who chose me to be his wife because he instictivly knew that his sperm would work with my eggs, yeah he's weird like that.

    I was talking to DH last night about baby-making and he said "Why bother?  You're just gonna kill off all my boys anyhow!"

    I shouldn't have let him watch The Great Sperm Race.

    I made an offhand comment to my DH that I hope his swimmers are strong enough or something, and he was mortified to even consider that his sperm wasn't in tip top shape.  Just as many women consider their fertility an essential part of their existence, men can associate their manhood to their "super sperm".  It's one of those male ego things * grins *

    I was trying to explain the concept of EOD sex vs ED and he didn't seem to get it.  He told me his body makes "millions of sperm a day" so he didn't think there was any reason we shouldn't have sex ED.

     Oh my gosh! This is my Dh's comment, except "Twin boys". ha! I'd LOVE twins, but it would be so funny to have twin girls just to see how he'd react! Two princesses!

     omg, that's classic.

     This isn't a sperm quote, but something that I thought was cute that MH said about my charting.  I was proudly showing him my first completed chart on FF last night, and then I could tell he was kind of... less excited... about it than I was.   So I worried that I was freaking him out by showing him how obsessive I was about it.  And I said, "Is this weirding you out..  how much I put into this?"

    His response: "No, no.  Honestly, I wouldn't expect anything less from you."

    I took that as a compliment! Smile

    My Dh says the same thing!!  Or we'll be having a random conversation and he'll find away to bring it back to "well you know, if you didn't have an army hating on my amazing spermies..."  I laugh...but it's so true lol

    My personal favorite was when we got our BFP in December, we had BD's the night before (just for fun).  I found out late morning, and DH's comment was

    "wow, I knew I was good, but that's just some super sperm!" (he was bummed when I explained the biology timeline to him...)

    A couple cycles ago we bd'd four days before o. DH told me that it was prime babymaking stuff. I told him that I was hopefully going to O in the next few days so hopefully they'll stay alive that long. He said "not these, they live hard and die young". Who comes up with something like that?!

    ahahahaha, it feels like that!!

    One time, I hadn't mentioned to DH that it was "go time" until that night, and he made a comment before we got to it that he felt bad because he'd had a few beers and his boys might be drunk and lazy.  haha.

    My favorite non-spermie comment so far... I texted DH that our timing was "right on" for this month.  He texted back, "Go Team!"  hehe, makes me smile just to think of it.
