When Michael was smaller, he would sleep on me for hours. If he woke up at night and did not feel well, I would lay him on me and he could sleep. Last night he woke us up coughing. After a very warm bottle to help with the tickle, I tried to get him to sleep on me for a while thinking the body heat plus the humitifier in the room would sooth the cough. He wallered all over me and his left leg kept kicking out and waking him up. Finally, I laid him back in his crib, he rolled over on his stomach, stuck his butt in the air and fell deeply asleep. Mommy is no longer a comfy bed.

Re: No longer a little baby
Awww.... poor mommy.
But hey, at least you HAD those experiences.
Charles has never been too much of a snuggly baby, even as an infant. Just now he's starting to hug me a little bit and rest his head on my shoulder when he's sleepy. Sigh!
Little Michael is getting more independent. Maybe this is why people have more babies - to recreate the experience.

It might just be a one-time mommy-bed-fail... I hope he feels better!
