spitting up?

Is it normal for BF babies to spit up and then still be hungry? DS has done this a couple times where I burp him and he spits up maybe 1/2 teaspoon worth of milk so I assume he over ate and stop feeding him but then he fusses until I nurse him more. He has never spit up after I continue to feed him though so it doesn't seem like he is getting too much??
