I'm lactose intolerant and want to start making smoothies. Anyone have any good recipes? I'd like some that are for fresh fruits and ones for frozen fruits too. Thanks
I recommend putting in spinach in your smoothie in addition to fruit. It may sound strange, but you cannot really taste the spinach, but you get all of the benefits! It's a great source of iron and calcium.
My suggestions:
1 banana
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries (or other fruit)
handful of spinach
1 cup of rice milk or almond milk (I like soy too)!
* vanilla protein powder (if you want some extra protein)

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

I drink green smoothies almost every day. love them. I don't use any milk, just fruit and greens.
This is my basic recipe:
1 orange
1 banana
1 c. frozen fruit mix (pineapple, peach, strawberries and mango)
3 or 4 large handfuls of baby spinach or other greens (romaine, kale, etc)
Blend the fresh fruit with a bit of water. Add the frozen fruit and blend. Add the greens and blend. Drink and enjoy!
If you have a high powered blender you could probably throw it all in at once. I, obvisouly, do not!
