Hi everyone! I am new to posting, so sorry about my lack of abbreviations... ![]()
My DH and I have been TTC for 6-7 months now, when I talk about it (say with my closest friends, I down play the length) but last night my DH said "we've only been trying since October/November," helped me realize that I have been in denial. I know this length is nothing compared to some, so I am not looking for any pity...
My cycles run anywhere from 28-30 days, period length 7 days. I had used an OPK, would get the smiley face CD 19.
I have a hx of diagnostic lap with ovarian cystectomy. MD thought endometriosis, but pathology was negative. Numerous adhesions throughout, including fal tubes adhesded to ovaries. Dye was injected, shows fal tubes open.
Today is CD 31, noted a small amt of spotting starting last night, same light spotting today, so I know AF is coming. Very disappointed. Was reading about soy iso. Wondering others experiences with soy iso, and how long you waited until you started to take it.
Thanks everyone!
Re: Thinking of soy iso
I took soy iso 160mg about 3 months ago to help with my long cycles and it did not change my O date...
I wish you the best of luck and hope it all works out for you!
Your cycles are regular and predictable. I wouldn't take it. I experimented with soy isoflavones a few months ago because my cycles were 2-3 months long. I noticed a slight change, but did not continue it. My cycles have since shortened a bit. Soy isoflavones are supposed to act like Clomid. You don't seem to need that. I would continue to use OPKs throughout your cycle to help predict O, and start charting if you aren't already.
