Dilemma: HELP!

My mom and MIL got me the PPB Abundance Boxy Backpack in frolicking in fez ($198) as a birthday present. I love the bag. The dilemma is that my 2nd choice diaper bag (the SkipHop Duo Double Deluxe in uptown stripe) is now on zulilly for $50 shipped. I have a $15 credit for zulilly, making the bag only $35 with shipping.

I definitely like the PPB better, but $165 better? I don't know... WWYD? I have 4 more days to return the PPB to amazon for full credit (no shipping or restocking fee).

Ha, I would be having the same problem....I am very thrify and do not buy myself anything, I would rather spend it on DD. So the $165 would be very appealing, that being said, I actually splurged and got a PPB bag and it made me  happy!  Do what makes you the happiest!!!

Your second choice is exactly that.. a second choice.  You got your'dream' bag as a gift, it didn't cost you anything.  Keep it and love it

I change my purses like I change my socks. I have 2 diaper bags from my baby showers and I'm keeping both.

Worst case, you don't use one later and you sell it on craigslist.

I would vote for this.  We have 2 diaper bags and even H said it was a good idea to keep them both,  That way you always have one that could be your 'standard' then one to send with a relative/baby sitter/preschool.

ETA: Even H said to keep them both.  And he hates having extra unnecessary items laying around so it must be best to have at least 2.

First choice is the more expensive one.  Otherwise this would be an easy decision!

If the skip hop was either of the other colors it comes in I'd definitely buy it because I know DH would carry those.  This one is girly though, like the PPB.
