I just noticed last night that you wanted the recipe for stuffed green peppers. This is MIL's recipe and she didn't include amounts for some stuff I just guess. Anyway here it is:
2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup cooked rice
salt and pepper (just enough to season)
Worcestershire sauce (a little bit more than a tablespoon)
1 egg
1/2 cup minced onion
green pepper
1 can tomato soup
1/4 cup water
Mix the Worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper, egg, onion and cooled rice with the ground beef.
Stuff green peppers with ground beef mixture or just make a large meatball (my family won't eat the green pepper so I just make the meatballs and slice a green pepper to cook in there with everything to flavor it)
Pour tomato soup and 1/4 c water into a deep frying pan. Place meatballs/stuffed peppers in the pan. (The meatballs/peppers will not be completely covered by the sauce.) Cover and bring to a slight boil, turn down heat and cook for 45 min to 1 hour.
I serve this with mashed potatoes and use the tomato soup as a gravy, it sounds weird but it's really good. Sorry it's not the best recipe since it's unclear in some spots. If you make it let me know how it goes!
