Getting pregnant after a vasectomy reversal

Anyone out there have a husband who had a reversal done and got pregnant? My husband just had his reversal done in February. He has two children from a previous marriage. I am 32 and he is 41. We are trying to get pregnant and was wondering if anyone else went through this and has any advice. Thanks

Not husband, but dh's uncle & wife. He was 50 when he had his 5th (his second marriage.) and she was 35....first month after vr they got pregnant. They actually just had their 2nd a few weeks ago.....

Since both procedures were done by professionals, you should be fine.  These days there is really only doubt in the cases where the original vasectomy was not done in a hospital.  (For example: as result of a motorcycle accident...) MH had to have his counts checked by a doctor a few months after the his just to make sure that everything healed alright, but his surgery was probably more eventful than your husband's was.  GL

My husband has his vasectomy reversed last May. We have gotten pregnant twice since then. The first time was just 2 months after the procedure. Both pregnancies ended is miscarriage but clearly his sperm are getting through.

Sorry to hear of your loss.  My husband and I live in Sacramento too.  In my husband's previous life, he had gotten a vasectomy and now of course we want to have a child together.  Did your husband have his reversal performed in Sacramento?  We are trying to find a good doctor with a reasonable or affordable price tag.
