Unnecessary warnings in titles?

I will confess that I have questioned for awhile why certain people use ( ...mentioned ) for everything. This was before the flood today. It seems like we're getting a cliff notes version before we even open a post, and can be distracting and annoying, yet, other posters have been doing it for awhile and no one says anything. I know in the past it was done out of humor but if everyone is getting annoyed, maybe we should limit the use to pg/baby related things all around.

I just want to make sure that people don't miss the first part of my post. There is one person on this board who's coming to mind who does this consistently and I feel like if Cashew's going to get called out for a harmless joke, this person also needs to stop.

Yes, it was Texas and she used it in some NBR way...I think something like "Poop mentioned" or "Shiiting my pants mentioned"  for some reason I think it was related to BM     It was hilarious and a complete joke and not making fun of anything or anyone.  This whole post got blown way out of proportion by the OP.  Sensitive much?

Also, I was on the FB group.  I remember the incident you are talking about and it wasn't Cashew who said something about you, it was Amye (SockMonkeySam) and you confronted her on the FB board about it, to which she apologized and said she was sorry.  The group itself got deleted quite a while later, by Amye--because she was the Admin.  No one else.  We all had the power to add people, but we didn't have the power to delete anyone or the page.  If you were deleted the very next day, then it had to have been Amye to do it.

Hopefully in your PM with Cashew you have apologized to her for wrongly accusing her.

All of this. And seriously, people are getting that upset over parentheses? Seriously? And mad at Cashew? ::rubs eyes:: seriously? Cashew had nothing to do with you getting deleted, and she is one of MANY, I repeat MANY posters that use the () so why would you get mad at her.

 Furthermore, if you're going to get mad at someone for snark and poking fun..why on earth her? She's incredibly sweet. That boggles me, if you're going to be mad at her for "poking fun" than you better be downright pissed at me because I go on crusades of pissing people off complete with a signature pissing unicorn. 

I'm glad you settled it with her, but I honestly think that if people want to put () on their post with a snip it of what is in it regardless of what it is about they should be able to.
