I posted last week that we were going to take one of these classes. It was helpful, DH said that he learned a lot (he has never even held a baby yet) so that was good. We talked about how to take a temperature, how much a newborn actually needs to eat, bathing, how many dirty and wet diapers to expect, when to be concerned and when not to worry. Also got to practice diapering, dressing and swaddeling a doll.
The most important thing was that they really stressed that caring for a newborn needs to be a team effort. I have told DH this several times and he was under the impression that is he was working that he was free from getting up at night ect. Having someone other than me tell him that this needs to be a team effort was helpful.

My Blog: Decorate This
We are signed up for a baby bootcamp class in a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to it - even though I've been around alot of babies, it will just ease some fears/anxiety I have. And DH, though great with kids, hasn't had much experience with little babies.
We had our Infant CPR class last night, and it was great. Definitely scary to think about needing to use it, but I feel good knowing I could do it if I had to. DH did get a little worried when I dropped the babydoll though, lol. I promised to be more careful with the real baby ;0
sounds fun!
DH seems to think that since I will be home and often stay up at night that it's perfect for me to be able to be up with her. I told him that not only will she but up at night but also in the a.m on and off...when I normally get my sleep! He now understands that it's going to be a team effort. Just because I am home all day does not mean I'll get to sleep then. lol
