NBR: Space Shuttle

I'm sorry, maybe I'm just speaking from a biased opinion. Both of my parents worked for Kennedy Space Center in Fla while I was growing up. I was born and raised in Fla. Then moved to Houston in High School and have lived here since. My Mom has worked with the Space Program for 30 years. Is it not common sense that the the Cape and Houston should get a shuttle?? A large number of those Astronauts lived and trained here in Houston and mission control is here!

I'm so glad that Florida got their Shuttle, but New York over Houston, WTF?

I live in NY, so I think it would be awesome if we got one, but not giving one to Houston?  That's crazy talk!!!!  I wish I got to see a shuttle launch!  That's so awesome that both of your parents worked there...jealous!  I'm with you on this one!

I agree this is wrong! Houston should definitely have a shuttle! It does not make sense to put one in New York over Houston.

Thank you! Even coming from a New Yorker. See! The launches were cool but the landing had more of an impact. The whole house and windows would rumble and shake from the sonic boom. If one landed in the morning when you were sleeping you knew what it was. lol.

Take your daughter to work day was always pretty neat too.

I'm really glad Florida did get one. If they didn't that would be beyond wrong.

That is crazy!!! Out here in CA I haven't even heard this bit of news... if more people around the country heard I'm sure there would be more people upset. Egads!
