FIL CUT DD'S HAIR TODAY. Grrrr.  I've been trying to grow out these major bangs and yes, it's in her eyes, but I pin it and clip it and hairspray it the best I can until it's long enough.  Now, I'm starting all over again, and I've got to fix it, because of course it's off. FIL thought he was helping, but this still offends me b/c if I thought my DD needed her hair cut, don't you think I would have gotten it cut??? He apologized and left the house afterwards, tail between his legs, I know he feels bad.  But I get mad everytime I look at DD's hair.

Plus, preschool pics are this week. Grrr again. 

Then MIL states that she wanted to have an outfit for DD to be pictured in at the preschool. She's the director there and can have DD's picture taken both days. This would be fine with me, if it weren't for an issue we had last year where DD cried the first day (in the outfit I bought and was excited about) so the pics weren't great. And the second day in an outfit and hat that I hated that MIL had put on her, they went through special efforts to make sure she was calm and took a million smiling pics.  Of which my MIL bought all of and wanted me to hand out (I bought the ones of her in my outfit to give out). 

I told her this year it was fine if DD took good pics on the first day for her to put her in an outfit, but if not, then she needed to try the outfit again the 2nd day b/c I wanted good pics in it.  She agreed.  But I'm still irriated.  It's non stop toe-steppings with her.  Of course my childcare is "free"...

I would be sooooooooooooo mad!!!!!!!!! Especially because I HATE bangs, so does DH.  My mom keeps telling me that I should cut her bangs so they are not in her eyes (she doesn't keep barrets, etc in her hair), but they are just about grown out & I would be torn if anyone were to cut them without my permission!!!!

I'm sorry, they will grow, but not in time for the pics, obviously.   Hopefully she will take a good pic this year though...

I would be beyond pissed.  Just because they didn't ask and like you said, if I thought that her hair needed to be cut, I would cut it.  But I am horribly picky about haircuts for DS. 

Luckily bangs grow out and I am sure that she will look so cute in her pictures=)
