I have APS. You can Google the exact definition but basically this means you should be on BA and Lovenox/Heparin when you are TTC. I know with my IVF cycles I start shooting Lovenox on the day of transfer, but I don't know when they'd have you start it on a natural cycle. I am assuming a few DPO. Anyway, it sucks that you have to add meds and the Lovenox is hella' expensive, but APS is treatable and shouldn't keep you from carrying a baby to term if you stay on the treatment path outlined by your RE. Sorry for the news and best of luck to you!

Thanks, Kelin. The nurse called this morning to set up a consult about my bloodwork and I got her to tell me what the BW showed before my appt this afternoon.
My RE isn't sure it's the APS that brought on my losses, as they were so early and my P4 was so low. He's still suspecting poor O and low P4, even while taking Prometrium. My eggs just suck. I'm glad we're being proactive nonetheless. I will be doing the protocol you described.
I appreciate your response. I know we were active on the reg. TTCAL at different times and so don't really know each other, but I've followed your journey since I came to TTCAL last May. I'm really pulling for you. (((Hugs)))

Also, ask your dr about the generic version: enoxaprin. I'm on that instead of Lovenox. It severely cuts down the cost (always a good thing)!

It's not a problem! My RE kinda said the same thing about APS causing my m/c's. He said it probably wasn't the #1 factor but it was good to treat it just in case. Keep me up to date on your follow-up appointment! And thanks for pulling for me, I really appreciate the good vibes!
