xp: in honor of my moms passing im asking everyone...
to reach out to your mom today. If you can or will see her give her an extra hug. If you won't see her call, text, email... something and tell her you love her or are just thinking about her. If you don't usually get along with your mom put your differences aside just this one time. If your mom is no longer with us then take a quiet moment and just think about her. Please do this today because you just never know when she won't be here for you tomorrow. Thank You.
Sadly my mom passed this weekend. She had battled many different cancers over the past 6yrs. Her body just couldn't take it anymore. We expected to have a little longer with her but she just couldn't hold on. I am thankful that she was here to see me get married and was here for the birth of my 2 daughters. She will be missed.

i am really sorry to hear about your mom passing away. i also lost my mother to cancer. she missed my wedding and birth of my daughter (to say the least), but at least i did have her for the first 20 years of my life. after having my daughter, i started a website that i basically use as a journal to occasionally write about my journey as a mom without a mom. i would love for you to join. i like what you said in your post - "Reach out to your mom today and give her an extra hug."
