We have a 2010 Jetta TDI and a 2000 Saab 9-3 (2 door). We are looking at the Britax B-Ready with the Chaperone infant seat. With the promo right now, it's a great deal! I just want to know if anyone has experience with smaller cars and fitting the baby seat. Our other option we are thinking about is the City Mini with the Graco Snugride 35. The Britax deal ends up being cheaper. I am going to try and find a place that has the infant seat to try, but I thought I would ask here first! Thanks!
Re: Britax Chaperone
I would go to a store that sell one and try it in your car. I drive a VW Tiguan, which is a small SUV, and it fits pretty snug, and part of the base hangs off the seat.
I have a friend who fit hers in the back of her Passat, so it might fit, but it would be best to double check before purchasing.
Even though I bought mine on Amazon, I went to a store that carried the model and asked to try it out in my car.

It might depend on how tall you are. I have a 4-door Honda Civic and the Chaperone would have fit behind my seat because I am short, but DH needs the seat all the way back and the Chaperone did not fit. We also have a ford Focus and the Chaperone did not fit well there either unless the passenger wanted to sit in the glove compartment.
We ended up getting a Chicco Ketfit and we can have both seats all the way back in both cars and it still fits with plenty of space.
