Just got a BFP and have a seventh month old. OMG!!

So, I just had a baby at the beginning of September, and have been nursing/pumping for the past seven months.  I had my first postpartum period in Nov, and have been pretty regular ever since.  Well, Aunt Flo didn't show up on time this month.  I was keeping track of my periods on my phone, and thought we were safe. Well, obviously not.  I  took a pregnancy test today, andit was positive.  I really have no questions.  I am just freaking out and I guess need some advice or something......AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Congrats...welcome...and you  will be fine.  I almost passed out when I got my BFP for baby #2.  I was late and had cramping...and took a test thinking it most defintely would be negative...we weren't trying and it took me 15 months with medical intervention to get pregnant with DD1.  takes a few days or so to get over the initial shock

Congratulations! I'm in the same boat as you, a little...was not trying but not preventing and DD is 10 mos old. I'm a bit overwhelmed but I believe it's meant to be. Also, everyone has told me how rewarding it is to have 2 siblings close in age. I can't wait! So glad this board is here, I have a feeling I will be here a lot in the coming year.

Congrats and welcome to the club!  Mine are going to be only 11 months apart!  We were shocked but after we got over the shock we realized we wouldn't want it any other way!  Congrats!

Mine will be 14mos apart and it was a big surprise. I really just took the test to prove my DH wrong and have a good laugh.

You'll get over the shock soon enough, and talking to other moms here may help you realize that it's a very exciting and fun time

Congrats!  This pregnancy was a surprise as well and at first I was so worried, concerned, heck terrified!  Now that we're three months out from the due date I can't wait.  Give yourself some time to settle into the idea of having another, you've got nine months.  Also know that your LO is going to grow and change over this time as well.  You can do it!

Congrats!  we will be doing 2u2 for a second time around, completely planned.  It honestly isn't that bad:)

Congrats and welcome! No advice here as I am in the same boat you are. LO#1 will be 15.5 mos by the time #2 is born. Totally planned but quite surprising nonetheless.

Congrats! My two boys are 2 days shy of a year apart and it's great.  It's a busy life but I wouldn't change it at all.

DS and DD are 16 months apart and I have really loved it.  I hope you have a H&H 9 months!

Pretty much this exactly!  I had just weaned DS and a month later, still didn't have an AF, so I took a test...it was +, and I was in shock!  My 2 are 15.5 months apart (and DS was 7 months when I got my BFP), and it is great!  It is challenging at times, but when they are playing together and so happy to see each other, it makes it all worth it!  Congrats and don't worry, you will do great!!

Thanks for all the kind words.  I am still in a bit of shock, but it is slowly starting to sink in that I am going to be a mommy again.  Looking forward to getting to know you all better!

I had the same shock when I got my BFP (which I took just to prove my FI wrong )

It takes a few weeks and you will get over it, I promise!

DC2 is due 11/04/11 (scheduled c-section on that day), DD's birthday is 11/12, so they will be less than a year apart.

You will find that many people have been or will be in your shoes!

I'm in your exact position! DS was born 9/21/10 & I found out about a month ago that I am pregnant again. It's not how I would have planned it, but the more time that goes by, the more I am warming up to the idea. There are at least 3-4 other pregnant mamas on the Sept 2010 board if you want to talk!

Congrats and Welcome! The ladies on this board are great! Ours was a surprise as well...when baby #2 gets here mine will be 15 months apart. The shock will pass once you see LO#1 growing and changing throughout your pregnancy! Enjoy!
