they only affect certain ones made at a certain date. you only get a replacement if you've had issues w/ yours. i have this pump and no issues

I have the model number transformer that's being recalled, but if you read the recall put out by Medela it's only those with damaged cords or bumps in them (or whatever the real name is called). Since mine is undamaged, (I checked VERY thoroughly yesterday) it's still safe to use.
