I needed new white and black summer tanks anyways and am really pleased that this year's version at Gap has spandex in it. They were on sale for $10/each so I bought a slew of white, black and grey ones to use for sleeping and casual weekend wear. I also got a few in the next size up for use later in the pregnancy.
As a comparison, the size S knit maternity tank in Gap is about the same cut/size as the M in the regular Gap knit tanks. There is a very small width difference in the tummy, but I think the M will still work for awhile this spring/summer since it's so stretchy and very long. Just a heads up for anyone looking to stock up on summer tanks right now. ![]()
Re: I think I cleaned out my local Gap's tank section
Certain Baby Gap locations carry maternity stuff in store. Check the web site to see if there is one in your area that has it. The girl at mine was saying that it's a new thing and I don't think it's been rolled out to all of them yet. I could be wrong though.
Love the Gap tank tops! I like that I can just buy my normal size. I didn't have to go up at all when pregnant with my son and am hoping for the same thing this time.
PP-some Baby/GapKids have a small maternity section in the back.
Yup! I got a couple from there, too, but the size/color selection at my local Target stores was a bit lacking.
long tanks and short sleeve cardigans for work all summer!
I will head to Gap tomorrow, but we wont have the same $10 sale unfortunately.
H&M has cheap tshirts too, but they shrink a lot in the wash. may have to go up a couple sizes in those.
