Anyone waking up and find that they are sleeping on their stomach?...I am only 8 weeks, almost 9 weeks, and it freaks me out like I am squishing the baby!
Like pp said, the baby is so protected, there's no way you are hurting it. In fact, your uterus is still tucked behind your pelvic bone and doesn't start moving forward until around 12 weeks.
With that said, I slept on my stomach until it was uncomfortable while pregnant with DD. I can't remember exactly when I stopped, but I slept on my stomach until at least 19 weeks.

You're still ok to sleep on your stomach. Saddly, there are no tricks for not sleeping on your stomach. You'll just have to train yourself to start sleeping on your side (better start early). GL!

Great question! I sleep on my stomach as well and was paranoid, and then I read that after the first tri we shouldn?t sleep on our backs! Only one option remains, side sleeping. Eeek!
This. Although, sometimes when I roll over I feel a pulling sensation. I assume this would happen regardless of the position after laying the same way for an extended period of time.
I can only sleep on my stomach. I have been trying to train myself to sleep on my side, but my arms fall asleep and that wakes me up, so I am sleeping on my stomach until I can't anymore.. But I did hear that a body pillow works wonders for sleeping on your side. I am going to try that tonight, just to see if it works.
Ahh, tummy sleeping is awesome! I'm gonna be so sad when I'm too big to do so. I'm completely without worry about it. No danger at all. Your body is pretty good at telling you things that aren't right when they're as simple as lying on your tummy.
I've learned I drool more on my tummy, though. Gross.

Re: Sleeping on stomach?
This and once you get uncomfortable sleeping on your stomach you will know it is time to sleep on your side.

I am a stomach sleeper too & I'm not going to worry about it until it gets uncomfortable and my tummy is getting noticeably bigger.
