Name Question???

My DH and I have had a name picked out for quite a while but we're still not sure how to spell it.  His family and some of mine say that since he's Puerto Rican, we have a Spanish surname, and we speak some Spanish at home we should go with the Spanish spelling but we're still not sure.  My SILs are adament that we go with the Spanish spelling since she'll be bilingual and my DH isn't giving much of an input he said its totally up to me how we spell her name. 

So now we're still trying to decide if we should go with:

Sofia Elena or Sophia Elena

 Please help! What would you do? Thanks!

Given his background and your family lifestyle I recommend Sofia.  Plus, I think it looks prettier with Elena.

I would pick the one that my husband and I liked most.  I wouldn't worry about what other people want you to do or think you should do.

Personally, b/c of the background I like Sofia, but it only matters what you think.

Either way is nice but I LOVE Sophia Elena, such a pretty name!!

I personally like Sofia in your circumstance, but I agree that you guys should pick whichever one you prefer. They are both beautiful.

i would go with sofia, i'm latina and hadn't even thought of sofia with a 'ph'.
