or at least maybe some contractions, mucus plug, anything to let me know things are moving?

I thought week 39 was the longest week ever...no, week 40-41....so much worse. :-(

It just feels like being in a time vortex of waiting....days passing...don't want to make plans or go anywhere...literally nothing left to clean or buy for the baby...freezer full of meals....every CD I own updated on my ipod.... makes you wanna go crazy!

I feel your pain.  Why can't our babies get the due date message?  Haven't felt a thing yet to signal baby is coming.  Don't even know what a contraction feels like...  About to go on a walk with my neighbor and her baby to try to get things moving.

seriously right?! Zero control over this situation people! Or even all the "late" comments, "oh now you're 3 days late,:" "oh now you're 5 days late" ...I'm sorry if I'm ruining their plans or something? Do non-preggos not realize that due dates aren't like a meeting that you schedule lol?

im also right there with you!!! today is my due date and wk 39 was way to long with me....i cant wait for my dr appt tomorrow, we will be setting my date to be induce ...but i have had the same thing of no plug losing or anything i just started having some contractions the other day or at least i think i am. lol this is my first

My DH claims if I hadn't been so organized and gotten everything ready, she would definetely have decided to come early or even on time for that matter.  But instead, it's off to work for a few more days, keeping things clean around the house and making all other plans tentative.

I'm sorry hun! I know how you feel. I'm only one day pass due and I begged for an induction this week. I know I'm wussing out, but I've had no progress and no one is confident that more time is going to help. Plus, every day I'm late is a day less of maternity leave I get to spend with LO.

Here's hoping you go into labor ASAP!

 This. I'm 39w1d and people are like "is he coming soon?" I DON'T FREAKING KNOW!!!!! I sure as hell hope so, but my crystal ball is on the fritz so unfortunately I don't know the exact date this child will be making his appearance.

ugh, and PSA: if your DH is anything like mine, don't mention to him when you feel a mild contraction like i was all day yesterday, b/c he will ask you every effing 30 SECONDS if you are having a contraction. I swear to God, i love the man, but he may not live to see the birth of this child.

I've had the same conversation with my DH! The other day he was going to be away from the house for a few hours and I told him to make sure his phone was charged before he left the house and then I took it back and told him, nevermind, maybe if he was completely unreachable then this baby would decide to come. LoL!
