Babies due in less than 9 days and I am very emotional...

I have been so stressed and emotional the last 3 days. My babies are due in 9 days or less and my 3 year old daughter has been especially hard and throwing tantrums that are awful. She seems to be mad at me all the time no matter what. She has been able to make me cry 4 times in the last 3 days. I don't know what to do at this point. I am feeling so guilty about the twins and I know life is about to get even harder. Thanks for letting me vent.

I didn't have a 3 year old when my babies got here, but it will all be ok. I was very stressed/emotional and nervous.  It is normal. I am sure she is very jealous of the attention you and the babies are getting, and probably having a hard time with the fact that you can't do quite as much with her as you used to.  When those sweet babies get here, your whole family will be so in love with them.  

Maybe you can give her some more responsibilities when the babies get here? She can help you get bibs, bottles, toys etc? Maybe you can even start some sort of reward system for helping you?  I don't know...I am just trying to think of something to help you!  Good Luck! Enjoy this time that is about to arrive.  I know you must be a tough cookie for successfully carrying those babies this far.

Big hugs!!!  It will be an adjustment, but try to keep the big picture in your mind.  They will all love each other!  Not saying I'm always able to do this myself, but I'm trying

Is your DD in pre-school yet, or ready for it? 

What about getting her a baby doll and stroller, or similar to help her feel like she has a baby to take care of too?  Is she too old for that? 

Oh, and you're in SD.  If you're interested, the MoM club through Scripps Memorial (you don't have to deliver with them!) is a great resource!  They even have big kids events (3+) and it doesn't have to be your twins.  GL and PM me if you want
