maybe my waterbroke?

for 2nd timers, if u had your water break prior to contractions/while you were at home or similar...talk to me about how this "trickle" should feel. i went to too pee a min ago because i kept feeling like i was leaking a little into my pants but i also needed to go...then when i was done i sat there for about 5 minutes and i was just dripping. it almost seemed like the drip of an iv and it just kept going and going? i thought i would post. lay down and see if i pool before i call the dr. i think all the nurses/obgyns/residents etc. at my hospital know me by now so if i go in again, i want it to be the real deal and not me peeing on myself lol

When this happened to me, I thought I just needed to keep going pee.  So I put down a towel on the floor, stood over it, and tried to "hold it in - kegel style".  It kept trickling down and I could not stop it (it was really light - no gush - and I did not feel a pop) - and it was pink tinged.  My water had broke!

Sweet smell=most likely amniotic fluid.

it almost doesn't have a scent at all...but perhaps there is a sweetness to its scent. and it's definitely clear as opposed to when i peed like just prior to realizing that it wasn't stopping.

that being said, i just made the call. im packing up the bag. dh is upset because he is in the middle of cooking dinner. lol call me a little selfish but i honestly wouldn't mind too much if she comes. this has been quite the adventure.

Well mine busted like the freakin' hoover dam with my first.. no trickle there! But, I would def call - it never hurts to call.

Wow. Well yeah I think for sure you HAVE to go now. Too bad you aren't further along. I would say wait an hour and eat dinner. But at 35 weeks better go in right away.
